Internet radio dealt severe blow as Copyright Board rejects appeal

The Copyright Royalty Board denied a request from the NPR and other webcasters to reconsider its March ruling on Internet radio royalties. Today’s ruling reaffirmed the original CRB decision. The only change was in how the royalties will be calculated. Now royalties will be based on average listening hours (till the end of 2008).
